Obama and Hu in the Oval Office
The media was only allowed in the Oval Office for the bilateral meeting between U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao for a just a couple of minutes.
But it was long enough to pick up an interesting exchange. What do two major power world leaders discuss?
Take a guess.
Yep, you got it.
The weather.
Hu and Obama sat in chairs and were overheard talking about how cold it is outside. President Obama told Hu that 35 degrees in D.C. is "typical for this time of year."
The world leaders did not take any questions from the press. They have a few meetings now, and will meet the press for a news conference in the East Room in a few hours.
