Religious Hostilities Worse Around the Globe

09-07-2014

Religious hostilities around the world are getting worse, according to a new Pew Research report.

The report says social hostilities involving religion reached a six-year peak in 2012.

Thirty-three percent of nearly 200 countries and territories examined had a high, or very high rate of incidents in 2012, up from 20 percent in mid-2007.

Researchers also found the incidents increased in every major world region except for the Americas.

What more can be done to reverse the trend of increased religious hostilities around the world? Dr. Robert George, chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, talks about this and more, on Christian World News, Jan. 17.
