On-Call Media Operator

Broadcast Operations – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Media Operator to execute videotape equipment operations and provide variety of digital media content support.

This opportunity is an on-call position offering flexible hours on an as-needed basis without guaranteed weekly hours.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Proficient in MS Office with ability to learn new technology
• Knowledge of the NTSC signal
• Knowledge of media playback and record techniques
• Quick learner with ability to comprehend complex workflow processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport with all levels of management and staff
• Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
