Remittance Operator - $16.00/hour

Remittance Processing – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a detail oriented individual to join our Remittance Processing department.  Our Remittance Operators open, sort, and prepare batches of regular and bulky mail according to procedures and perform data entry functions.

This position works on-site at our Virginia Beach office each day, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Prior experience of cashiering, processing specialist, lockbox, or banking
• Performs intermediate level remittance processing tasks
• Basic computer skills in MS Office
• Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail able to enter validate and enter check information
• Ability to work in a locked environment and maintain security
• Ability to use a 10-key calculator
• Good manual dexterity and ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in high pressure, production environment
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to a variety of working conditions
• Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Ability to process work accurately and maintain performance output expectations
