Obama On Speech: "It will be OK"
The President and senior advisers walked from the Oval Office to the White House residence for lunch.
As he did, an interesting exchange with reporters happened. Check it out:
"Hi, guys."
Question: "How's the speech coming?"
"I think it will be OK--I hope so anyway."
"Got a copy?"
Laughing: "No----I think we can arrange that."
Obama was likely headed to lunch with the anchors from the main television networks, NBC, ABC, CBS and the cable news outlets. It's an off-the-record lunch. An annual tradition.
