Rep. Paul Ryan to Respond for GOP
House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., will deliver the Republican response following the President's State of the Union address next week. He will deliver the address from the House Budget Committee room.
A press release from House Speaker John Boehner's office says the room is "where the Democrats' spending spree will end and the Republicans' push for a fiscally responsible budget that cuts spending will begin."
GOP leaders say Chairman Ryan is "a leading voice for fiscal discipline and common-sense solutions to cut spending and create jobs."
