"Of course, that is a huge undertaking," Gibson told Laurie. "And you know, it's not the 'Passion 2.' It's called 'The Resurrection.' Of course, that's a very big subject and it needs to be looked at because we don't want to just do a simple rendering of it — you know, read what happened."

Gibson says the film will only happen if he partners with a "brilliant" writer.

"In order to read it, experience and explore probably the deeper meanings of what it's about, it's going to take some doing and Randall Wallace is up to the task," Gibson continued. "He is also, as well as a brilliant writer, he is a great director. He directed 'We Were Soldiers' and 'Heaven is for Real' and stuff. So, he is a good writer and director."

Gibson shared little more about the resurrection movie, but led many to believe the long-standing rumors about a Passion sequel might be true.

When the attendees weren't gushing over the possibility of a new movie, they were pouring out their hearts to God.

This year, some 105,000  people attended the conference in Anaheim, California. So many were moved by the sermon and worship that 11,699 people ran to the field to renew devotion to Christ.

The Harvest Crusade made some noise on Twitter and thousands of people tweeted about their life-changing experiences at the event.

One person tweeted a picture with a packed stadium, saying "It's truly amazing watching 40,000+ people pouring out their hearts for Jesus. #harvestcrusade

Another person tweeted an image of the thousands of people who gathered on the field who had just given their lives to Christ.

Thousands were changed by the message of the gospel and are committed to living their new lives as believers.
