Netflix is now facing felony charges for the controversial French film, "Cuties".

A Texas grand jury indicted the streaming service for promoting "lewd" visual material "against the peace and dignity of the state", but a Netflix spokesperson says the charges are without merit and they stand by the film. 

Faithwire's Tré Goins-Phillips covered the controversy surrounding the film's debut and spoke with Dan Andros earlier in September to share why Netflix and others continue to back the film.
