Children are a gift from God but consider, if you will,  the image of a child crying in the corner because no one wants him or her.  This is a stark reality.  The list of orphaned children is long, good "forever homes" are hard to find and the clock is ticking.  Children only have 8 years from birth before their chances of adoption plummet significantly.  All of that pierced the hearts of a couple in San Antonio, TX who decided to do something about it.  They're starting a unique housing effort called Liv San Antonio.  CBN Senior Washington Correspondent Jennifer Wishon traveled to Texas to learn about the Christian based effort.  Click play to hear about the "God glue" that brought this story together.

There are still a lot of unknowns about the new Coronavirus, but CBN News health correspondent Lorie Johnson helps put in context some of what we do know:

“550 people have been infected so far and 17 have died…you think about people who have died from the flu this season alone, since October, 6,600, 39 of those were children,” Johnson said on today’s CBN News Daily Rundown.

CBN News senior international correspondent George Thomas points out that the way China is handling this outbreak is unprecedented.

“All across Wuhan the streets are deserted, trains are not operating, planes are not flying, it’s like a ghost town…it will be interesting to see how effective this lock-down is and whether China is able to stop the spread of this virus…my understanding is that this is the first time a country has imposed such a major ban on transportation links out of a capital city,” Thomas said.

Listen in to today's CBN News Daily Rundown for those full interviews.

Robertson is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown with a recap of day one, some insight into how CBN is covering the trial, and a look at some of the more bizarre requirements Senators must adhere to during the proceedings.

Reporter Heather Sells recently interviewed several parents of transgender adults. They're alarmed and speaking out about how quickly medical and educational professionals push treatment on any gender-questioning child and they say they're ready to go public if it will prevent a new generation of medically scarred and sterile transgender adults.

Sells is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.
