Four and a half years have passed since the recession officially ended, but tens of millions of Americans are still out of work.
Many don't seem to have much reason to hope they'll soon find a job, and two consecutive weak unemployment reports haven't made things look any better.
Serious longerterm issues are rising, like baby boomers retiring from the work force. Some analysts predicted losing those employees will hurt the economy's ability to grow.
Others said the United States will eventually find a way to overcome its problems.
Many conservatives also warn heavy regulations coming out of Washington along with Obamacare will further hinder the job market.
