A diet based on vegetables along with some fish could significantly cut your risk of colorectal cancer, according to recent research from Loma Linda University

The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, found that a vegetable-based diet could also cut down chances for other cancers as well as severe health problems like diabetes, heart disease, obesity and high blood pressure.

The study covered nearly 78,000 people and found that even just cutting back on meat can help cut the risk of cancer.

Experts said making changes in your diet can have a significant impact on your health.
