Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the U.N. General Assembly Thursday and took the world to school. For months, Netanyahu has talked about the need to draw a "red line" on Iran's nuclear program. In a brilliant move Netanyahu pulled out a simple diagram of a bomb in the middle of his address and drew a literal "red line."

The diagram looked like something out of a Saturday morning cartoon. As if he was teaching a class, he pointed to the picture and started with the basics:

Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition has now begun dropping their presidential voter guide into key battleground states.

They are sending it out to roughly 17 million social conservatives that they have identified in their extensive voter file. It is being delivered by mail, email, text message, to churches, and door-to-door.

When people receive the voting guide in the mail, they can scan the barcode into their smart phone where a video begins to play that sums up the candidates positions on the issues.

About one-third of the American population is reported to have some type of mental illness each year. But keep in mind, these are only the people who are reporting their problem. A slightly lower number, one-fourth of the population, has a mental health issue that is either moderate or severe.

As we all know, mental illness reaches well beyond the person with it and touches the lives of everyone that person comes in contact with, especially family members.

As recent events show, their plan is working to perfection.

Part 1 of "The Project" airs tonight at 8 p.m. EST. Part 2 airs tomorrow night, Sept. 27, also at 8 p.m. EST.

Today, perhaps for the last time, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will address the General Assembly of the United Nations. Once again, it’s expected Ahmadinejad will – as he has for years – delegitimize, demonize, and threaten the nation of Israel.

For example, on Monday, he said “… they (Israelis) have been occupying those territories for the last 60 to 70 years, with the support and force of the Westerners. They have no roots in history.” In 2005, he called Israel a “tumor” and longed for the day Israel would be “wiped off the map.”

My beautiful five-year-old daughter Myley reminds me of the ocean. She is full of life like the ocean and so complex and deep. However, we never know if she will be serene, as calm as the most peaceful waters, or if suddenly we will be faced with fierce ups and downs. Myley has explosive tantrums when she does not get her way. Her will is a strong rip tide. She wants things a certain way and to be able to do what she wants when she wants.

It’s been quite the week. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were determined to be the sandwich of white privilege by a Hispanic principal in the Portland schools. As a white person, I didn’t eat PB & J growing up. I don’t like peanut butter! Yet, I am stereotyped with all white people, the very thing this principal is trying to avoid. Does this make any sense to anyone?

No, we here at Beltway Buzz aren't jumping on the bandwagon. Don't expect us to sound off the same talking points you hear everyone else screaming about the new polling numbers showing President Obama ahead of Mitt Romney.

The candidates have yet to engage in their first of three debates. And, let's be honest, there's still plenty of time for either contender to make a gaffe on the minefield, er, in race for the White House between now and Election Day.
