Legendary actress Lauren Bacall died Tuesday at the age of 89.
The two-time Tony Award winner and Academy Award nominee passed away at a New York City hospital.
According to Variety, Bacall may have suffered a stroke.
The actress was best known for her sultry-voiced roles opposite her husband, Humphrey Bogart. She made her screen debut opposite Bogart at age 19 in "To Have and Have Not."
After marrying in 1945, they co-starred in three more films, "The Big Sleep," "Dark Passage," and "Key Largo."
Bacall was also known for her confident expression, which earned her the nickname "The Look."
She is survived by Stephen and Leslie Bogart and Sam Robards.
