Torrential rains are causing severe flooding in states across the country.
In Arizona, a man was forced to jump from the roof of his flooded car onto a fire truck, where firefighters pulled him to safety.
And in Baltimore, flash floods covered side roads, leaving people stranded. High water also swamped the Baltimore beltway where traffic was backed up for hours.
In Detroit, hundreds of cars were abandoned after getting stuck on flooded streets and highways.
More rain is expected along the East Coast on Wednesday, with flash flood warnings in effect.
