Forecasters are predicting more severe winter weather for the Midwest and New England Tuesday.

Monday brought more than a foot of snow, freezing rain, and howling winds across the region.

Whiteout conditions caused a massive pileup on I-94 in Michigan. In Chicago, 3 to 6 inches of snow fell on top of piles of existing snow, creating snow banks taller than cars.

Some cities brought in bulldozers and trucks to remove heaps of snow the  snow plows couldn't move.

Residents in the affected areas are experiencing winter weather fatigue.

"I'm getting tired of it because it's been going on forever," one Chicago resident said.

The storm is moving into the Northeast Tuesday morning, where Philadelphia, New York, and Boston could see several inches of snow.

Winter weather advisories are in effect from Wisconsin to Maine.
