Three victims of Human Trafficking are waging a legal battle against a website they say exploits children.

The Washington Supreme Court will hear arguments against Backpage.com Tuesday. The lawsuit claims the three girls were sold as prostitutes in advertisements on the website.

A federal case was filed in Boston last week. A 2012 Washington law that set limits on Backpage.com was shot down by a federal judge.

Backpage.com is fighting the lawsuit, saying the legal action is an attempt at censorship.

Website representatives are basing their argument on the Communications Decency Act, which they believe gives them immunity from the activities of site members or users.

Lawyers representing the girls argue Backpage.com and other sites that offer "adult services" are not protected from the communications act because they are responsible for some of the information on the website.
