Officials have no suspects or motive yet in the bombing of two churches in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Sunday.

The blasts at Calvary Baptist Church and Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church could have caused serious injuries.

"Just the fact that they were at churches the same day, a half an hour apart or so, that leads us to believe it could be something related," Las Cruces Police spokesman Dan Trujillo said.

Miraculously, no one was hurt.

"I'm just thankful to God nobody was standing by the door because there's usually always somebody standing there. But because it was the consecration part of the Mass, everybody was kneeling down and facing toward the altar," Holy Cross's Monsignor John Anderson said.

"Ten minutes later we would have been leaving and standing around that space," he added.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to those responsible.

New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez said whoever planted the bombs is a coward. Churchgoers said they won't be scared away.
