Just days after what some called the blizzard of 2015, another storm is barreling across the United States. And once again, it's headed toward New England where many neighborhoods still haven't been able to dig out from the last blast of winter.

It's the second part of a brutal one-two punch: snow, ice and brutal cold that just won't quit.

The storm smashed through Denver Wednesday, causing more than 40 accidents during the morning commute.

Just east of Nebraska, it caused white-out conditions on the roads while dumping over half a foot of snow. Minnesota saw 186 crashes in just six hours.

In New York, temperatures finally began to thaw, leading to dangerous chunks of ice falling from the World Trade Center.

In Chicago, they're still digging out from the last storm and, according to residents, not doing a very good job of it.

"It's a mess and it's a shame it's still like it," one Chicago resident said.

Plows are still trying to catch up on snow removal after the first storm dumped nearly 20 inches on the city. Elsie Richardson said she needed all the help she could get.

"I got stuck on this trip today once before. This is the second time in this one trip," she lamented.

And in Boston, frustration is growing as the city struggles to clear the streets.

"I'm a little dismayed that, you know, they went and did, spent some resources on cleaning up downtown, as opposed to getting some of the neighborhoods cleared," Dorchester resident Isaiah Floyd said.

Meanwhile, Old Man Winter has a third act: a bigger storm is expected Sunday night and Monday.
