A young man in Texas was arrested for stealing after he was turned in by his mother.
She was watching a local news station, when she saw her son breaking into a man's home on surveillance video. That's when she called the police.
"I'm happy about it," said Joseff White, the man whose home was burglarized. "It might seem like she's selling him or turning him in...but she's doing him a service. She's helping him become a better individual for our society."
The mother said she was embarrassed but had this message, "Just tell all the mothers out there that if their son does this, turn them in. It's a tough lesson and it hurts, but it's for their own good."
