Millions of thrill seekers across the country are hitting amusement parks in search of the latest and greatest rides.

Carowinds theme park in North Carolina recently unveiled one of the world's tallest-, fastest-, and longest-running roller coasters.

With a peak of 325 feet, the Fury is 20 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty. The ride travels 95 miles per hour and twists along more than 6,000 feet of track, with an 81 degree dip.

Manufacturers of roller coasters and other thrill rides often push the envelope to make the biggest, fastest thrill rides, but just how safe are they?

CBN News Reporter Charlene Aaron spoke with safety consultant Ken Martin about the concerns surrounding amusement park rides. Click play to watch the interview.
