11-11-2015

The North Carolina Museum of History opened up a new exhibit this weekend celebrating Billy Graham's life.

The legendary American evangelist turned 97 years old on November 7 and the new exhibit pays homage to his life and faith.

The exhibit, called "North Carolina's Favorite Son: Billy Graham and His Remarkable Journey of Faith," explores his life as well as seven decades of ministry.

"Billy Graham, a native son of North Carolina, is known for his positive impact in our state and around the world," said Ken Howard, director of the North Carolina Museum of History. "The museum is proud to present his life story in this major exhibition in partnership with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association."

The exhibit will  include personal memorabilia, interactive displays, and multimedia that will bring Graham's story to life.

The exhibit will continue until next July.
