The annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., on January 22 typically draws crowds in the hundreds of thousands. But this year, a winter storm is forcing many large groups to cancel their trips to this year's march.
CBN News spoke with the March for Life Conference's 2016 keynote speaker, Sue Ellen Browder, who says young women are entering the pro-life movement in record numbers. She calls today's young pro-lifers the Pro-Life Generation.
In an interview with CBN's Lorie Johnson, Browder said that the theme of this year's march is "Pro-Life and Pro-Woman Go Hand-in-Hand." She says many women are embracing a new kind of feminism that is decidedly pro-life.
In the early 1970s, Browder's life was very different than it is today. As a longtime freelance writer for Cosmopolitan magazine, Browder says she was an ardent propagandist for sexual liberation during the rise of the women's movement.
She said she often wrote stories meant to soft-sell unmarried sex, contraception, and abortion as the single woman's path to personal fulfillment.
Browder's personal story of how she helped the sexual revolution hijack the women's movement -- and the impact it had on her life and the future of America -- is chronicled in her new book, Subverted.
