The man who entered a Fayetteville, North Carolina, church on New Year's Eve with a gun and a clip of ammunition, has since apologized for his actions.
The man, who is a veteran and allegedly sufferers from post traumatic stress disorder, entered Heal the Land Outreach Ministries where Pastor Larry Wright was delivering a sermon.
When Wright, a retired Army sergeant, asked the man if he needed help, the would-be-gunman asked for prayers and began to cry.
Pastor Wright then took the rifile from the man, prayed with him, and invited him to stay for the service.
Days after the event, the man returned to the church to ask for forgiveness.
CBN News reporter Charlene Aaron, spoke with Pastor Wright about the harrowing incident, the need for church security, and how he now ministers to the troubled man and his family.
