The United States is cautioning Olympic athletes against wearing team USA clothes at the upcoming Sochi games.
A memo was sent to athletes by the U.S. Olympic Committee warning about security concerns in the southern Russian resort town.
The State Department told competitors that doing so could pose a safety risk, according to the Wall Street Journal.
"The U.S. Department of State has advised that wearing conspicuous Team USA clothing in non-accredited areas may put your personal safety at greater risk," the memo said.
Meanwhile, a new video posted by the "Islamic Jihad Union" is gaining traction. In it, the al Qaeda group threatens to attack the Games.
Still Russian President Vladimir Putin insists the Olympics will be safe.
