This week marks 100 days since the deadliest typhoon on record hit the Philippines.

Typhoon Haiyan struck the island nation Nov. 8, leaving more than 6,200 dead and hundreds of thousands homeless.

Months later, victims are still struggling to put the pieces of their lives back together.

They are getting help, however. One of the many organizations at work in the Philippines is Somebody Cares International.

This month, the Christian ministry is coordinating the shipping and distribution of 1.4 million meals to typhoon victims.

CBN News spoke with Dr. Doug Stringer, president of Somebody Cares International, about the outreach. Click play to watch.
