Iran and the six world powers have agreed on terms for implementing the nuclear deal announced in November.
Beginning Jan. 20 when the agreement goes into effect, Iran says it will limit uranium enrichment to 5 percent, stop enriching uranium to 20 percent and neutralize its stockpile of 20 percent uranium over the next six months. The Islamic Republic has also agreed to allow International Atomic Energy Agency officials to inspect its nuclear plants and centrifuge production to ensure its compliance.

From Jan. 20, there will be six months to reach a final deal. During that time, the U.S., Britain, France, Germany, China, and Russia agreed to ease economic sanctions.
President Barack Obama says the agreement "will advance our goal of preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon."
"I have no illusions about how hard it will be to achieve this objective, but for the sake of our national security and the peace and security of the world, now is the time to give diplomacy a chance to succeed," he said.
Secretary of State John Kerry called it a step toward a long-term peace with Iran.
