Two bombs exploding half an hour apart killed at least 118 people and injured dozens more in the Nigerian city of Jos Tuesday, with its large Christian population.

The explosions tore through a crowded business district near a bus terminal and shops owned by Christians.

The deadly blasts came just two days after a suicide bomber in northern Nigeria killed 20 people.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the bombings, but they bear the mark of Boko Haram, an Islamist group that has targeted and killed thousands of Christians in recent years.

The same terror group kidnapped nearly 300 Christian girls in mid-April.
