Meriam Ibrahim, the Christian mother who was once jailed and sentenced to death in Sudan for her faith, was honored at the Values Voter Summit.
Speaking in broken English, Ibrahim told the crowd, "God is good, all the time."
Meriam also spoke personally with Nagmeh Abedini, the wife of U.S. Pastor Saeed Abedini, who is imprisoned in Iran.
Meriam told Naghmeh, "Do not fear. Remain strong, take care of your kids and the Lord will be with you."
