The death toll from Monday's earthquake in Pakistan and Afghanistan is now over 300. It's expected to rise as rescue efforts continue.
Crews are struggling to reach remote areas hit by the quake. Landslides and falling rocks have made many roads leading to isolated villages inaccessible.
Pakistani helicopters and military planes are transporting relief supplies to these remote areas.
The United States offered emergency shelters and other supplies stored in warehouses throughout Afghanistan. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said U.S. officials have been in contact with their counterparts in Afghanistan and Pakistan and are ready to provide additional support.
Pakistan has the highest death toll so far. The 7.5 magnitude quake injured more than 2,000 people and damaged nearly 2,500 homes.
