Syrian Christians Fear Annihilation, Seek US Help
Syrian Christian leaders are asking the United States to help preserve Christianity in the war-torn country.
On Monday, a delegation of Christian leaders from Syria will talk about the situation at the Heritage Foundation. They already have been saying that without outside help, Christians in Syria may disappear.
Hundreds of thousands of Syrian Christians have already been driven from their homes by radical Islamic rebels, and the churches and monasteries in their communities have been destroyed.
The delegation of Syrian clergy also appealed for more U.S. aid for refugees.
