Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is taking aim at leadership within his own party, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, who said Monday that he won't campaign with Trump anymore.

"I wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with a lot of these people, that I can tell you," Trump told Bill O'Reilly on "The O'Reilly Factor" Tuesday night.

He also lashed out on social media.

"Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support!" Trump tweeted.

He then declared, "It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to."

The news comes after many from Trump's party have withdrawn their support after the release of a vulgar video from 11 years ago in which Trump is shown making lewd, sexually explicit comments about women.

Even as Trump wages war against the GOP, he continues to battle Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton. This week, his campaign released a new television ad citing Clinton's failures as secretary of state and warning against the dangers of a Clinton presidency.

Clinton, meanwhile, is dealing with a new WikiLeaks release of over 1,000 campaign emails. Some of them seem to reveal a close relationship with the news media -- including a New York Times reporter giving the Clinton camp veto power over statements she'd made before including them in a story.

Other emails showed Clinton's team mocking evangelicals and conservative Catholics.

Referring to powerful Catholic conservatives, Clinton's communications director Jennifer Palmieri said, "I imagine they think it is the most socially acceptable, politically conservative religion."

"Their rich friends wouldn't understand if they became evangelicals," she added.

Clinton's campaign team responded to the latest leaks by saying they're simply an attempt by Russia to sway the election.

On the campaign trail, Clinton showed up on stage with former Vice President Al Gore in an attempt to win over some Millennial support by talking about his major issue -- and one that's important to many of them -- climate change.

"I'm running against a guy who denies science, denies climate change, says it's a hoax created by the Chinese," Clinton said at a rally in Florida.

Clinton has a lead in the polls and is now looking beyond the White House and trying to help Democrats take back the Senate as well; but Trump's not backing down. He's sure to hit Clinton hard as the race enters the final stretch.
