Earlier this year Ashley Graham was criticized when she graced the cover of Sports Illustrated, the first plus-sized model to do so.

But recently, Zach Miko made headlines when he became the first plus-sized male model to be signed to a major agency — IMG.
Miko stands 6-foot-6 inches and has a 40-inch waist.
The 26 year old says modeling is something he never thought was possible for him, but he is honored to change the industry for men.
"Modeling has changed my life," he said in an interview with FOX411.
"Modeling never was even thought of as an option. It wasn't even a conceivable notion. My biggest focus in modeling is to try to make it available to anyone who loves it. The men's industry is definitely playing catch up with women's industry as far as diversity and inclusion goes."
But it doesn't seem that Miko is getting the backlash that plus-sized women models receive. His recent Target campaign went largely unnoticed until his signing with IMG.
To be fair, in the past, Target has used plus-sized women in its advertising, but will Miko get half the flack that Graham and other plus sized women models constantly face?
Is there a double standard when it comes to plus-sized female models and plus-sized male models?
You be the judge!
