The grand opening of the Museum of the Bible this Friday will bring to light how the Bible has impacted society throughout all of history. The museum has plenty of electronics, gizmos, displays, movies and cool effects. But what about the 'Jesus factor?' In other words, where exactly is Jesus inside this museum, because after all, He is God?

According to former top democrat Donna Brazile, Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee basically conspired to keep Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination in the Democrat Primary. I went to the three main television networks to watch the big coverage on this because surely they would have big stories on this right? Not a word. ABC, NBC, CBS. Blah. Nada. More on my analysis on President Trump's early Christmas present from Donna Brazile.

Chad Connelly is the FORMER head of faith outreach for the Republican National Committee. He quit this past week, saying the following: “The treatment I received from the new political department has been disrespectful, antagonistic and unacceptable...GOP Faith in general and me in particular, just don’t have the priority I anticipated.” And with that, Connelly dropped the mic and left.
President Trump won 81% of the evangelical vote, an all-time GOP record. One of the main guys who needed to receive a thank you card was Chad Connelly. He was one of, if not THE MAIN guy in the trenches, talking to pastors and their congregants about Trump. He had some convincing to do to get Trump to that 81% number. Connelly estimates he spoke to about 80,000 pastors over the last four years. He didn’t have an easy job and he left it all out on the field. A gaping hole is present right now in the RNC regarding faith outreach. I explain it best in a creative video diagram from our DC Bureau. Take a look.

Congressman Mark Meadows, the leader of the influential House Freedom Caucus tells CBN’s Faith Nation that he likes the, “basic framework” of the GOP’s tax plan that will be released Thursday. “The basic framework is one that’s good,” Meadows tells Co-hosts Jenna Browder and David Brody. “It’s actually very aggressive, very pro-growth, pro-family in terms of the way that it’s set down.” Meadows says he’s confident President Trump is going to make this law one that benefits the middle class. “I’ve been in the Oval Office speaking directly with the President on this particular issue and he’s laser focused on making sure that those in the middle income tax brackets get not only a significant reduction but that that’s the primary focus. Regardless of what you may see on the headlines. It’s critically important that we deliver for them and I think we will.”
