Award-winning music artist Chance the Rapper is teaching kids to seek God through creativity and service.

When he isn't on stage or in the studio, he's volunteering with the Kids of the Kingdom (KOK) initiative through his charity called Social Works. Kids of the Kingdom is a summer program for Chicago kids that takes them on field trips, hosts special events, and teaches them how to worship God with their lives.

Lat week, the rapper, born Chancellor Bennett, posted a video on Twitter showing him dancing with children and praising God.

"Me and my God, we get turnt up," The kids are filmed singing and dancing in a church.  Chance captioned the post, "Me and my God we get turntup #kokcamp."

He donated $1 million to Chicago public schools last year.

"I'm committed to helping Chicago students have quality learning experiences in a quality learning space," Bennett told DNAInfo. "As an artist, I know the arts are essential, they teach students valuable lessons."

While some artists in the industry think Bennett should just stick to music, he remains unashamed of his faith.

"I know for a fact we're not pushed or promoted to speak about God with fervor," he said in an interview on Beats 1 radio program. "I think the new generation and the forward is all about freedom and all about the ability to do what we want. We're not free unless we can talk about God."
