Earlier this month Jordin Sparks made a big announcement. The season six American Idol alum announced she is married and expecting her first child. Now, she's opening up about the journey that led to the big changes.
In an interview with People Magazine, Sparks explained that she and her husband, model Dana Isaiah, secretly wed in July. They announced the gender of their baby boy on Instagram over Thanksgiving.
Sparks told People Magazine she and her husband are "both really excited." She added, "He's been like, 'I want to shout it from the mountain tops!' We're really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this."
The pair also talked to People Magazine about how they met and fell in love.They became a couple after Sparks mom and Isaiah's mother put them in a group text.
People reports Sparks and her husband bonded quickly over their tight-knit families and shared Christian faith.
