While Paul Ryan will no doubt help energize the conservative base for the fall campaign, here’s the real issue: Will the Romney/Ryan ticket be ready for the battle over Medicare?
They will have to convince independent and undecided voters that their future plan for Medicare makes sense. This is not an easy sell. You can’t just trot out the line about how your grandkids future is at stake. You have to go beyond that.
On this week's episode of the Stakelbeck on Terror show, we're joined once again by Bible prophecy expert Bill Salus and White House correspondent Bill Koenig for a look at how current events in the Middle East are fulfilling Bible prophecy—and how Israel's enemies may soon instigate a war with the Jewish state that will see them decisively defeated.

Clearly the Romney campaign forgot to consult The Brody File before making its VP selection this weekend. That’s because The Brody File is at the beach with his family!
Having said that, here are a quick few thoughts on the big choice:
This is a big and bold pick, which is a little surprising since Mitt Romney is typically more of a reserved, play it close to the vest type of guy.
