The 2012 presidential race is underway and leave it to Evangelicals in Iowa to lead the way.

As I took in the big event at Point of Grace Church north of Des Moines Monday night, here’s my bottom line: when it comes to picking a winner in the Iowa Caucus, this is NOT going to be an Evangelical slam dunk. Conservative Christians are going to have to do their homework.

CAIRO, Egypt - CBN News has learned new information about the recent attack against Christian homes and a church in the town of Soul, Atfif, Helwan Governorate not far from Cairo.

Coptic contacts told CBN News, the Muslim mob that attacked the Christians did so at the urging of Mullah Ahmed Abu El-Dabah.

They said during noon prayers at his mosque last Friday, March 4, the imam told attendees the “kaffirs” (infidels) had caused a lover’s dispute that led to the death of two Muslims the day before. He allegedly incited Muslims to rid the town of all Christians.

On Tuesday's episode of "The 700 Club Interactive," I sat down for a wide-ranging interview with host Gordon Robertson to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East.

We hit the entire region, from Egypt to Saudi Arabia to Iran. Click on the viewer below to watch--the interview follows an excellent lead story at the very top of the show by my colleague John Waage on jihadist cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

How would you finish this sentence, “I love my mother, but…”? I asked women to email me their responses and what I found did not surprise me. I received everything from “but…she is controlling, critical, abusive, never there for me...” to “she is an example of grace, my best friend....” Let’s face it. When it comes to mother-daughter relationships, it gets complicated.
