President Theodore Roosevelt said the United States needs to speak softly and carry a big stick. It took ten years for that big stick to fall on Osama bin Laden.

Now we need to speak softly to help protect the lives of Pakistani Christians and other Christian minorities in Islamic nations.

President Obama took the right course of action when he decided against releasing the Bin Laden death photo.

Osama bin Laden is gone, but the war on terrorism continues and we are currently engaged in two wars one in Afghanistan and the other Iraq. With that in mind I almost forgot this weekend’s historical significance in regard to past wars.

Memo to the GOP candidates who were not here at the debate in Greenville, S.C. tonight: Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum are ready for primetime. You better buckle up.

Both Pawlenty and Santorum came across as composed, self-assured, knowledgeable and strong. Add it all up and they ended up looking pretty presidential tonight.

Pawlenty looked strong from the start, as he never seemed to get rattled and was able to weave in the narrative of his life. That’s critical for a guy many Americans still don’t know.

This is my first Mother’s Day without my mom. She passed away before Christmas of 2010 and it will be sad to not talk to her, send her flowers, and recall fond memories. But for those of you who still have your moms, this is a time to honor her and make it a special day. Honoring mom will be easy for some of you, but more difficult for others.

In regard to Bin laden’s death…a little bit of wisdom…perhaps not politically correct….but….

A number of months ago I conducted an interview with Eric Metaxas on his book, Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. At that time I highly recommended this as an important read. It seems that has been confirmed.

It's a simple question: Why not release the Osama bin Laden photos? But it’s not a simple answer.

While a case can be made for NOT releasing the photos, The Brody File asks you to ponder a few things.

First of all, if the objective was to make sure we got bin Laden and could produce a body, then why would we not show the proof?

The administration understands that many Muslims around the world are already skeptical of the United States. By not producing a photo, you give them more reason to be wary of the secretive U.S.

The White House announced Wednesday that they had decided not to release photos of Osama bin Laden's corpse, something which has been widely called for by people around the world who want proof that the man killed in the daring raid Sunday night was, in fact, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks.

The administration has been very deliberate about everything with regards to this mission. President Obama reportedly "slept on it" before giving the final go-ahead, waiting 16 hours to sign the order for Navy SEALs to execute the mission.

You don't often hear of people dying from osteoporosis. But it actually is the indirect cause of death from complications from broken bones or fractures.

Osteoporosis is the loss of bone density. When this happens, our bones become brittle and extremely vulnerable to breaks or fractures from everyday activities, such as a fall or in some cases, even bending over.

Also, osteoporosis can weaken your backbone so much that vertebrae compress, cause stooping, and lead to people becoming shorter. I think we've all seen this in both men and women.

Just a quick update on the latest developments with my new book, The Terrorist Next Door: How the Government is Deceiving You About the Islamist Threat, which was released on Monday, May 2.

The book has been holding strong at No. 1 in Amazon.com's Terrorism category since Sunday.

Sean Hannity has called it "one of the most informed, politically incorrect books out there," while Neil Cavuto has called for a sequel.
