Today is the first day back to school for thousands of kids around the country. Some of them will be going to the freshly opened Barack Obama Elementary School, in a suburb of Washington, DC.
It's really amazing how many people take sleeping pills on a regular basis. They are some of the most widely prescribed medications in America today.
Like anti-depressants, I feel sleeping pills are far too over-prescribed.
Although some people may have need for them (anti-depressants and/or sleeping pills), I think a vast number of people who take them would be better off finding a more natural way to address their problem.

The direct talks will be held at the State Department. Clinton expects the talks can be completed in a year's time.
President Obama has also invited Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak and King Abdullah of Jordan, to the talks. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who has played a large role in peace talks, will participate as well.
An interesting press gaggle today between White House Deputy Press Secretary and reporters on board Air Force one.
The Pew Research Center poll came up. The poll shows that a growing number of Americans think President Obama is a Muslim. Burton pretty much blew it off and said it wasn’t an important issue.
You probably heard somewhere or read somewhere today about a new report from the Pew Research Center. If you haven't, check out The Brody File.
I reached out to the White House for comment on this, and here's their statement:

The controversy raging around the proposed mega-mosque at Ground Zero is just the tip of the iceberg.
There are currently no less than 10 major mosque projects being planned from coast-to-coast: from New York to Wisconsin to California and beyond.
Andrew Marin's vision is for the evangelical church to bridge its gap with the gay community. The first step -- recognizing the pain caused by many Christians.
