A fraud case against Donald Trump is heading to court in New York.

The billionaire Republican presidential front-runner is accused of ripping off students for millions of dollars with his Trump University.

Trump says he did nothing wrong.

But New York State Judge Cynthia Kern has ruled the case is heading to trial, which means Trump could be forced to testify in court.

The case is being brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who accuses the business tycoon of misleading thousands of students in a "bait-and-switch" scheme.

Schneiderman says Trump could face millions in fines in the civil suit.

If Trump wins the Republican nomination, it could set up an unusual sight of a presidential nominee taking the stand to testify right before the election.

Trump University closed down in 2010.
