Tebow Pays Emotional Visit to Young Cancer Patient

10-08-2015

He may not be a member of a professional football team this season, but Tim Tebow isn't wasting any time off the field touching young lives.

Earlier this year CBN News told you about the opening of The Tebow Foundation's CURE Hospital for children in Davao, Philippines.

Now, according to CSN News, the former NFL quarterback paid a surprise visit to the bedside of a young fan in Jacksonville, Florida.

The comments of 13-year-old leukemia patient Nathaniel Nelson, first reported by First Coast News, inspired cancer patients and others around the world.

"In my mind I know through God, I can do anything, and beating cancer is one of those things," Nelson had said.

Encouraged by Nathaniel's faith, Tebow decided to pay a visit to his Wolfson Children's Hospital room.
