A Catholic hospital in Detroit has won a lawsuit against its policy opposing abortions. The lawsuit was filed by the American Civil Liberties Union.
A federal judge dismissed it, saying the ACLU could not explain how Trinity Health Corporation's policy would risk women's lives.
The judge said any harm is "speculative." The ruling means the hospital will not be forced to perform abortions.
