Olympian Tori Bowie took a leap of faith four years ago when she told her grandmother that she could beat Olympians Allyson Felix, Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica.
Bowie left Rio taking home the medals of the Olympic rainbow, gold, silver and bronze.

Bowie did just that during the women's 100 meter dash finals Saturday night when she beat the two-time defending champion Pryce with a time of 10.81 seconds.
It is a feat few people have accomplished in a four-year time span. But as she watched the 200 meter Olympic final race in London she said, "I think I can beat those women running. I really think I can beat those ladies."
The then 21-year-old Tori was only a two-time NCAA long jump champion, with no professional track and field contract, and a broken jaw that kept her out of the U.S. Olympic trials.
