A simple hashtag on Twitter is bursting through the darkness and carrying a message of hope across social media.
#HopeinGod cites Psalm 42:11. "I will put my hope in God."
Apparently, that's a much-needed message in our world right now as it's been re-tweeted over and over today.
Here are a few more scriptures on hope and why believers in Jesus never need to fear the works of the enemy.
1. Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope."
2. Matthew 25:21 - "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things."
3. 1 Corinthians 2:9 - "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
4. 1 John 3:2 - "Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
5. Hebrews 10:33-39 - "Do not throw away your confidence; for it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. For in just a very little while, 'He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.' But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved."
