Police in Haiti are looking for the killer of a well-liked American missionary, George Knoop.
The 77-year-old was stabbed multiple times in his Port-au-Prince home last week. Detectives say the motive is unknown and they have no suspects.
The missionary was apparently alone at the time and knew his assailant.
Knoop moved to Haiti from Chicago in 2010 in the aftermath of the earthquake.
He volunteered for U.S.-based Missionary Flights International, was an elder at Quisqueya Chapel, and led Bible study groups.
Knoop's church is scheduled to hold his memorial service Wednesday afternoon.
