UK Police Foil Christmas Bomb Plot

British police have arrested six people for allegedly planning an ISIS-style attack on Christmas shoppers.

With the global rise of Islamic terrorism, authorities everywhere are bumping up their security efforts to ward off terror attacks this Christmas season.

According to the Daily Mail, British police have arrested a suspected ISIS terror cell who may have been planning a Christmas bomb plot.

Police raided six buildings in Derby, London and Burton upon Trent. Five men and one woman were arrested after authorities spent months investigating signs of a terror plot. Security forces call the arrests "significant" and say their target may have been a major shopping center in the region.

One of men worked at a chicken factory and a coworker says the company is shocked by the arrest, saying their coworker was a popular man.

"Police raided the factory last night and have arrested one of the workers," he said.  "Armed police stormed it and took a man away who is quite a popular worker here.
It's incredibly shocking to come into work and here about the arrest."

So far, security forces have not found any guns or explosive, but they have found a large stash of electronics that they hope may contain information into the details of the terror plot.
