CBN News Daily Rundown September 24, 2018
News from the White House to the US Capitol today on the CBN News Daily Rundown. When we checked in with Chief Political Correspondent David Brody this morning we were hearing from White House sources that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was on his way to the White House to either resign or get fired.
Since then we received this statement from White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders that reads, "At the request of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, he and President Trump had an extended conversation to discuss the recent news stories. Because the President is at the United Nations General Assembly and has a full schedule with leaders from around the world, they will meet on Thursday when the President returns to Washington, D.C.”
Also on the rundown today, the latest on Judge Brett Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation hearings.
