Christians and Muslims are religious minorities in Sri Lanka. They've always co-existed peacefully, much of the religious persecution there coming from Buddhists, who make up the majority. The Easter attack, however, carried out by members of radical Islamic groups, has rocked the Island nation. According to senior international correspondent George Thomas what we saw in Sri Lanka is the future of Islamic terrorism: large scale attacks on smaller nations rather than in the West where there are more security measures in place. George is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.
