Power Play

Israel's defense minister has issued a warning: his country is ready to strike Iran, and he believes they're only weeks away from getting the material it needs for a nuclear weapon. This warning comes as Israel blames Iran for a deadly drone attack on an oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz, a provocation many consider a power play by the new hard-line government that is now in power in Tehran. And, it's been all about infrastructure on Capitol Hill this week, and Senate lawmakers finally appear close to passing a bipartisan bill. House leadership, however, has refused to consider the bill unless a second, much more expensive "human infrastructure" bill comes through with it.
