What we do

Disaster Relief

Whether it’s the victims of natural disasters such as a hurricane, tornado, earthquake or tsunami, or refugees in the midst of life-threatening conflict, CBN’s Operation Blessing is helping suffering people endure and recover by providing critical aid such as clean water, medical care, food, shelter, and basic essentials.

  • Wars, floods, hurricanes, typhoons, and earthquakes, as well as man-made disasters can strike anywhere, anytime – and often without warning.
  • The damage can be catastrophic, with homes, livelihood, and even lives lost.
  • Disasters disproportionately affect the poorest who often lack resources or access to support systems needed to rebuild their lives.

What We Have Accomplished Together

  • In 2022, CBN’s Operation Blessing's U.S. Disaster Relief Team was able to send help in response to 8 disasters here in the United States, including hurricanes Ian and Fiona, floods, tornadoes, and the border crisis. This included completing more than 300 work orders and effectively managed over 1,000 volunteers in disaster recovery.1
  • Operation Blessing’s Hunger Strike Force delivered millions of pounds of food to help feed people here in the United States, providing product to ministry partners across 23 states who help reach the hungry in their communities.1
  • Internationally, OB was able to help people in response to natural and man-made disasters and crises in 11 countries, including an earthquake in Indonesia, famine in Kenya, and a fuel explosion in Haiti.1
  • Kenya’s famine response saw large scale food distributions in multiple drought-affected communities. Some were even given supplies from drought resistant gardening.
  • The Philippines team responded to 4 different Typhoons, providing food to many left with little after the storm.

With your generosity, these programs bring hope and relief to those in need, as an expression of God's unfailing love.
